These Terms of Use govern your use of base10consultants.com and the free tools published there — Projx Diff and Projx Theme Builder — operated by Base 10 Consultants LLC ("Base 10," "we," "us"). By using the site or the tools, you agree to them.
Our internal business software is covered separately. For the Base 10 Project Console and the Base 10 Timer apps, see the Project Console Terms of Service.
The site is information, not an agreement
Everything on this site — service descriptions, results, timelines, and figures from past projects — is provided for general information. Results described are specific to those engagements and are not a promise of what your project will achieve. Nothing here is professional engineering, accounting, tax, or legal advice, and nothing on this site creates a consulting engagement. Work begins only under a written agreement signed by both parties.
The free tools
We publish Projx Diff and Projx Theme Builder at no charge, for anyone to use, including commercially.
- Projx Diff is open source under the MIT License; that license governs the software itself and is included with the source at github.com/CarbonNapkin/ProjxDiff.
- Projx Theme Builder is free to use in your browser, and the stylesheet it generates is yours to use in your projects without restriction or attribution.
- The published builds are not code-signed, and your operating system will warn you on first launch. Verify downloads come from our GitHub releases page before running them.
- Both tools read and generate files for your DriveWorks projects. Keep backups. You are responsible for validating output before using it on production projects.
Projx Diff and Projx Theme Builder are independent tools from Base 10 Consultants. They are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or tested by DriveWorks™ Ltd. DriveWorks™ is a trademark of DriveWorks Ltd. Other product and company names on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners, used only to identify those products.
Acceptable use
- Use the site and tools for lawful purposes.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Do not scrape, republish, or resell the site's content as your own. You are welcome to quote or link to it with attribution.
Our content
The text, design, logos, images, and reports on this site are owned by Base 10 or used with permission, except where a separate license is stated (as with Projx Diff's source code). The Base 10 name and logo are our marks.
Third-party links and services
This site links to and embeds third-party services, including Calendly, GitHub, and LinkedIn. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or conduct. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
Privacy
Information handled through this site is described in our Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of warranties
The site and the free tools are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the tools will be free of defects or produce correct results for every project.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Base 10 will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, project files, or profits, arising from use of this site or the free tools.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
