Privacy Policy

Base 10 Consultants LLC ("Base 10," "we," "us") is a DriveWorks Authorized Services Partner in Petoskey, Michigan. This Privacy Policy covers our public website at base10consultants.com and the free tools we publish there — Projx Diff and Projx Theme Builder. The short version: we set no cookies of our own, we run no advertising, our only analytics is a cookieless page-view counter, and the free tools do not upload your files anywhere.

What we collect on this website
- Cookieless analytics, no advertising. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and reports aggregate information such as the referring site, browser, operating system, and country. It sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your device, and cannot follow you to other sites. We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable product, we run no advertising, and we set no advertising or tracking pixels.
- Standard server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes ordinary request data — IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and the time — to serve pages, block abuse, and keep the site up. This is handled by Cloudflare as our infrastructure provider.
- What you send us directly. If you email or call us, we receive whatever you choose to include. We use it to reply and, if it leads to work, to run the engagement.
Scheduling (Calendly)
The contact section embeds a Calendly scheduling widget, loaded from Calendly's servers. When it loads, your browser contacts Calendly directly, and Calendly may set its own cookies. If you book a call, the name, email address, and any details you enter go to Calendly and then to us. That processing is governed by Calendly's privacy notice. We use booking information only to hold and prepare for the meeting.
The free tools
- Projx Diff is a desktop application you download and run on your own machine. It compares DriveWorks project files locally and writes its report locally. Your project files are never sent to Base 10 or to anyone else, and the app does not phone home. Downloads are hosted on GitHub, so fetching one is a request to GitHub.
- Projx Theme Builder runs entirely in your browser. The colors, typography, and density choices you make, the live preview, and the stylesheet it exports all stay on your device; nothing is transmitted to us. The page is entirely self-hosted — it loads no scripts, fonts, or trackers from any third party — so using the tool contacts nobody but this site.
How we share information
We do not sell, rent, or trade information about visitors to this site. We share it only with the service providers named above, acting on our behalf to operate the site, or where required by law.
Retention
Cloudflare's request logs are short-lived operational records. Correspondence you send us is kept as long as needed for the conversation or engagement it relates to, and for our business records afterward.
Your choices
You can browse this site without giving us anything: there is no form to fill in and no account to create. To ask what we hold about you, or to have correspondence deleted, email the address below and we will act on it, except where we are required to retain records for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.
Children
This site sells professional services to manufacturers and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
